RAYTOWN, Mo. - Just after 9:30 Sunday morning three people were shot in a home in the 5700 block of Elm Avenue, leaving one adult dead, another adult and a young child injured.
Police say upon arrival they located three people inside the home with apparent gun shot wounds.
One adult was declared dead at the scene.
One adult and one child were transported to area hospitals, their condition is unknown.
Police have not released any suspect information.
Anyone with any knowledge of the shooting is encouraged to call police.
