KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A recall has been issued for pre-sliced fruit sold at Walmart stores.
Country Fresh issued a voluntary recall on Oct. 2 that was extended this week. The pre-sliced fruit included in the recall are apples, grapes, mangoes, pineapples and cantaloupe.
There is concern the fruit could carry Listeria, though no reports of illness have been made so far.
Fruit included in the recall was sold in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas and have best-by dates between Oct. 3 and Oct. 11.
