KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Renovations are underway at the AMC theater in Independence.
The upgrades include power recliner seating, online ticketing, reserved seating and ticketless entry.
The facility will also get new carpet and new paint.
According to a release from Leawood-based AMC, the renovation will be completed in phases. The first phase is expected to be completed this spring. AMC expects the entire renovation to be complete this summer.
