UPDATE, April 13 | The death is now being investigated as a homicide. The victim was identified as Conrado "Conrad" Mendez of Kansas City, Missouri.

ORIGINAL STORY, April 9 | The Riverside, Missouri, Police Department is investigating the death of a man found Thursday morning.
Police found the man about 8:30 a.m. near the 4300 block of Northwest Tullison Road, according to a news release. His body was found off the roadway in a small wooded area.
The man's name has not been released.
There was no word on the cause of his death, but police were investigating as a suspicious death.
