SHAWNEE, Ks. — Shawnee Mission Parkway at Quivira Road in Shawnee, Kansas looked much better on Saturday morning that it did on Friday.
Road crews were seen out earlier Saturday morning treating the roadways, though cars were going at much lower speeds due to the slush and ice that was still left.
According to the Johnson County, Kansas, twitter account, all unincorporated paved roads have been plowed and treated.

On the Missouri side in Independence, crews will continue to work throughout Saturday.

Little to no snow is expected on Saturday, which will allow crews to clear roads. And in Johnson County, work will be done on gravel roads and problem areas.
