KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A roofer was struck by lightning Thursday in the 400 block of Raymond Avenue in Kansas City.
He and another man who was also working on the roof when the lightning strike happened fell off the roof of the house.
Emergency crews were dispatched just before 5 p.m. for a possible lightning strike.
Video from SKYTRACKER of the scene showed paramedics loading at least one roofer into an ambulance.
The extent of the workerrs' injuries wasn’t immediately known.
