It’s time to dance! Royals fan Tim Grimes says he is now cancer free!
We first met Grimes in September 2014 soon after his bleak diagnosis for stage 4 melanoma. He was given a 5 percent chance and 12-18 months to live.

With the help of friends, #RoyalsWinForTim started trending for the huge Royals fan who got to see not only one World Series run but two and even a World Series championship.
In March, Tim Grimes posted his first happy dance on Facebook after hearing the news from his doctors that his tumors shrunk in half.

Kansas City even rallied and created a love letter to KC video with Mayor Sly James among the new friends joining in and dancing with Grimes all over downtown after hearing the tumors had shrunk.

On Thursday, Grimes told his Facebook followers that his cancer was all gone.
He also broadcasted live on his Facebook page from his doctor’s office. His family and friends were with him to hear the news of his scan results.
