KANSAS CITY, Mo. – At least one Kansas City Royal was back in the White House Friday.
NBC News National Correspondent Peter Alexander tweeted Friday morning about the Royal visit:
Spotted in the White House Briefing Room, escorted by Sarah Sanders: Hall of Famer George Brett... a good excuse to watch this, 35 years ago: https://t.co/TJsFQBwWDJ

So far, there’s no word on why Brett was in the White House or if he was able to meet President Trump.
A Royals official said Brett was in Kansas City three days ago and made no mention of the trip.
