KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Royals left fielder Alex Gordon will have milk and cookies and sign autographs Sunday in exchange for a donation to SafeHome.
SafeHome provides services for survivors of domestic violence.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Village at Mission Farms at Indian Creek Parkway and Mission Road.
Organizers suggest dressing in warm clothes because there might be a line.
SafeHome said some urgent needs are paper towels, bath towels and twin sized sheet sets.
