KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A second man is facing charges in connection to the shooting last month in Westport that left 17-year-old Devin Harris dead.
On Friday, Jackson County prosecutors charged Ernest Jones, 23, with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
Earlier this month, prosecutors charged Devon Carter, 25, with similar charges.
Three other people were injured in the Feb. 29 shooting.
According to court documents, detectives spoke with a witness who placed Jones at the scene of the shooting.
Police said Jones was taken into custody on March 10 at a residence in Kansas City, Kansas.
Court documents indicate Jones declined to speak to detectives.
