Shawnee 10-year-old, Collier Rule, shreds on stage with Foo Fighters

SHAWNEE, Kan. — A young Shawnee boy stole the show and captured hearts of many Friday at the Sprint Center when he was brought on stage to perform with the Foo Fighters.

Collier Rule was in the crowd, enjoying the performance along with thousands of other fans when Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl spotted Rule and pulled him on stage."I know Ed Sheeran's playing down the street ... but he ain't got nothing on Collier right now,” Grohl said.

A day later, Rule was still understandably excited about the once-in-a-lifetime encounter.

“He said, 'Bye, Collier,' and I said, 'What do you want me to do with the guitar?" Rule said. "And he’s like, 'Do you want it?' And I’m like, 'Are you sure?' And he's like, 'You can have it; the tour's almost over. I might as well give you my guitar.'"

The gift came with an admonishment from Grohl that he'd better not see it next week on eBay, but that doesn't seem like it will be an issue.

"I stayed up really late playing the guitar until my mom told me to go to bed,” Rule said.

That just may become a new bedtime routine for the viral video star.
