KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A crash killed one person and critically injured another Thursday night in Shawnee, Kansas.
The crash happened about 7:20 p.m. on northbound Kansas 7 Highway at Shawnee Mission Parkway, according to a Shawnee Police Department news release.
Police said they ran off the highway and hit a bridge pillar.
A juvenile female died in the crash, police said. Friday, she was identified as 16-year-old Isabelle Ford of Shawnee.
An 18-year-old man suffered critical injuries.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
