UPDATE: A suspect in the deadly shooting at the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Missouri, is in custody, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
A man, who was later identified as 26-year-old Brandon G. Nunnally of Kansas City, Missouri, was shot Thursday morning at the plant.
He was found deceased in the parking lot just after 4 a.m.
Deonte T. Buffington-Hardy, 25, has been charged in Nunnally's death. His bond is set for $1 million. No arraignment date has been set.
Clay County police are investigating it as a homicide. They say this was an isolated incident, and not an active shooter situation. Because of this, business operations have resumed at the Ford plant.

The Ford plant plant manager, Tim Young, said their hearts go out to the Nunnally’s family and coworkers who witnessed the shooting.
Ford Motor Company released the following statement:
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to our employee’s family and loved ones.
We continue to cooperate with the Clay County Sheriff’s department on its investigation of this isolated incident at the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant. Law enforcement has confirmed there are no further safety concerns, as the plant has been secured.”
