A person showed up at an area hospital with gunshot wounds but later died, shortly after police responded to a shots fired call at 51st & Paseo.
Officers were called to the scene just after 10:00 Friday night.
Witnesses in the area told officers they heard loud talking and sounds of shots.
When they looked they saw a car drive away.
At this point, police say they presume the person who died was also in the 5100 block of Paseo at the time of the sound of shots.
