KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Silver Alert issued Friday night for a missing Overland Park woman was canceled when she was located safe in Labette County.
Helen Rhodes, 77, was last seen about noon Friday leaving her apartment to go shopping near West 91st Street and Metcalf Avenue and police feared for her safety.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued the alert and announced around 12:45 a.m. that it was no longer necessary.
