KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A single vehicle crash shut down the Interstate 70 & 18th Street exit early Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the eastbound exit just after 3 a.m., where they discovered a single vehicle crash.
The driver was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, while officers worked to determine the cause of the crash.
The exit was re-opened shortly after 5:30 a.m.
