KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A pit fire was reported at Gates Bar-B-Q on main street shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday.
Fire crews were called to the scene at 3205 Main Street just after 8:50 a.m.
Firefighters reported smoke and flames showing from the stack upon arrival.
Crews quickly attacked and extinguished a reported small fire in the pit area of the restaurant.
No word yet on if the fire impacts business today.
No injuries were reported.
