KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A sure sign of Spring? Plans are underway for Kansas City’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
On Wednesday, parade organizers announced comedian Eric Stonestreet will be the grand marshal of the 2019 parade.
“Having Eric as our 2019 Grand Marshal is an incredible honor for the parade committee,” Derek Campbell, senior co-chair of the parade, said Wednesday in a release. “This is not only special because of Eric’s career success, but for us it feels like a reunion of sorts after his participation as Fizbo all those years ago.”
The parade is set for 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 17. This year’s route starts at 33rd and Broadway and works south toward 43rd and Broadway in Westport.
