A grieving father's dream is realized thanks to the kindness of a stranger.

Two years after losing his daughter, Michael Turner got to see his step-daughter's dream truck.

The 1973 Chevy K-20 has a brand new orange and black paint job. The name Kai-Lynn is etched on the door.

Turners' step-daughter died in a house fire in February 2015, before they were able to fix-up the truck together.

"It was me and my daughter's truck. I didn't feel right with her just sitting in the driveway and it going to waste," said Turner.

Grief stricken; Turner sold the truck to Colin Theis.

He promised to restore the truck and honor Kai-Lynn's vision. Theis even posted Kai-Lynn's story online, where he received overwhelming support.

"KCK Auto Collision Center contacted me. And they wanted to do all the work. I didn't think it was real," said Theis.

Theis said he and his mother will drive the truck. And they're overwhelmed by the support and proud to drive around with Kai-Lynn's name on the door.

Turner says the truck was perfectly restored.

"The truck is just gorgeous. I couldn't. I don't even know how to explain how I feel about the truck. She's just beautiful. I want her back." said Turner.
