KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs claimed the AFC Championship on Sunday with a 35-24 victory against the Tennessee Titans.
Up next is Super Bowl LIV in Miami, where the Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers, who knocked off the Green Bay Packers to claim the NFC Championship later Sunday evening.
The Chiefs and 49ers will play Feb. 2 at Hard Rock Stadium near South Beach.
It’s the Chiefs' first Super Bowl appearance in 50 years and the first time the franchise has won the Lamar Hunt Trophy, which was renamed in the late Chiefs founder's honor before the 1984 season.
The 49ers most recently played in the Super Bowl in 2013, losing to the Baltimore Ravens.
