One person is in custody after a police chase out of Gardner ends in a crash on I-435 at Shawnee Mission Parkway Saturday evening.
According to the Johnson County Med-Act ambulance service, four people were transported from the scene with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the suspect vehicle is in custody.
Police shut down I-435 southbound lanes as they investigated the incident and worked to clear the scene.
