KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is in custody following a police pursuit that crossed state lines.
A Kansas City, Missouri, shooting suspect was located in a gray Dodge Charger at East 12th Street and Jackson Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, and headed west on East 12th Street.
The suspect then drove onto westbound Interstate 70 and Benton Boulevard, where speeds topped 100 miles per hour. The suspect crossed into Kansas City, Kansas, and officers lost sight of the vehicle at Interstate 670 and 18th Street.
Around 2:30 p.m., the suspect was located again in Kansas City, MIssouri, on Ward Parkway and later exited the vehicle on foot at North Agnes Avenue and Northeast 46th Street.
The suspect was taken into custody at Northeast 45th Street and Agnes Avenue.
