KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Racism has been thrust into the spotlight with the death of George Floyd while in police custody. As many reflect on their perspectives and experiences around race, it can be overwhelming and difficult to know what to do.
41 Action News reached out to a variety of local organizers and advocates for solutions on active ways to get educated on the issues concerning race and racism, challenge behaviors in our businesses and organizations, have the difficult conversations necessary to confront racism and biases when confronted with them and get active in holding governments and institutions accountable to change real policy.
