Teen dies in Independence ATV crash

The Independence Police Department is investigating an ATV crash that killed the 15-year-old driver.

The crash occurred on Thursday afternoon, near Hidden Valley Road and R.D. Mize, on private property.

Official say the ATV rolled over the teen, pinning him underneath. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identify of the driver has not been released at this time.
