Dozens of family members and friends spent Monday evening celebrating Robbin Baska and the life she lived.

Friday afternoon, Robbin woke up from a nap to a man holding a gun to her mom's head. Moments later, the gunman shot and killed her.

Her dad Robbie Baska said, "She took something that shouldn't have been intended for her. It's really sad that somebody so young, so enthusiastic and so full of life is not here today."

A small group at Oak Grove Park wore shirts with Robbin's photo, lit candles and listened to her favorite artist, Bob Marley. All of them taking a moment to honor the 19-year-old's life they say was cut far too short.

Now, the Baska family is begging anyone who has information to come forward.

"For everybody out there in the world, speak up because this wasn't supposed to happen," Robbin's stepmother Brandi Baska shared.

Services will be held at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa, Kansas. A visitation is set for Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Robbin Baska's funeral is Saturday at 11 a.m.

The Baska family set up this GoFundMe page to help raise money for those services.
