Three days after Toni Anderson's car was pulled from the Missouri River, her parents are planning their daughter's funeral.
Brian and Liz Anderson believe the 20-year-old drove to Parkville, crossed the bridge into the Platte Landing Park and somehow lost her way. They believe she was trying to turn around when she slid down the boat ramp and into the river.

"The belief at this point is that she got to the end the park did a u-turn to turn back around because of icy conditions, the vehicle slid down the ramp. She lowered her window and unbuckled her belt; because the water pouring in and the temperatures and everything else she wasn't able to get out." said Brian Anderson.
Divers found Toni's car about 800 feet from the boat ramp in 20 feet of water.
According to her parents, there were no visible signs of trauma. And her purse, cell phone and money were still inside the car. Information police would not confirm.
"I can't confirm anything that's been told by the family of Toni Anderson. I can tell you, at this point we don't have any evidence that suggests foul play," said Stacy Graves, Kansas City Police Department spokesperson.
Once the medical examiner completes the investigation, the Andersons plan to take Toni home to Wichita for a funeral.
