KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police shut off streets, redirected traffic flow and still it wasn't enough to ease the Sunday night traffic jam in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

Police were called to deal with celebrants on tops of cars and gridlock across the downtown area.

Law officers from other departments assisted with traffic and pedestrian control.

Thousands of Chiefs fans celebrated all day and night in the Power and Light District.

One streetlight in Westport didn't survive the celebration.

The sign in the 300 block of Westport Road was pulled to the ground.
