KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has partnered with Pepsi to provide new T-shirts for the beverage company's front-line workers in Kansas City as well as resources for children in the metropolitan area.

Pepsi purchased $10,000 worth of a new shirt, designed exclusively by Kelce's "Tru Kolors" brand, and will give them to the company's employees, who deliver drinks to restaurants and other businesses in Kansas City.

"It was a fun collaboration with Pepsi, and Pepsi does an unbelievable job here in Kansas City of not only making sure everyone stays hydrated, but making sure that they get back give back to the community in a positive way," Kelce said. "It was a fun way too to create a T-shirt with somebody else in trying to reach a broader audience."

The proceeds from T-shirt sales benefit Kelce's "87 & Running Foundation," which provides resources and support to disadvantaged youth in Kansas City. The foundation's mission is to nurture and support the talents of students from low-income areas in the areas of education, business, athletics, STEM and the arts.

Kelce said he "fell in love with Operation Breakthrough" when he came to Kansas City.

"Throughout their city schools, (kids) can go to this and and find a new love for things, you know extracurricular things like all the STEM programs," Kelce said, adding that "seeing those kids grow up just has been an awesome experience."
