Parents of Belton students were sent a letter on Friday stating that two more threats occurred against Belton schools.
The letter states that one threat happened at Belton Middle School/Freshman Center in which a student threatened to shoot up the school. According the district, the student was removed from class, suspended and the Belton Police Department became involved.
The second threat occurred at Belton High School. A student wrote "I am shooting up the school Feb 15" on a bathroom wall. The district says Belton police are investigating who was responsible for the message.
This is the fifth threat made against Belton public schools this week. Two threats involved Belton High School and one involved Belton Middle School.
