One person is in custody, following a double shooting in Leavenworth, Kan. on Friday night.
Police say the incident occurred just after 7:00 p.m. near the area of 4th and Kickapoo Street.
According to police, half a dozen people were at a family gathering when a suspect produced a hand gun and started shooting into the crowd.
Two people were struck and transported to area hospitals.
Police have a suspect in custody and continue to investigate what led to the shooting.
