KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One man was killed and a second suffered non-life threatening injuries in an early morning shooting on Coal Mine Road.
Police were called to a reported shooting just north of Blue Parkway and Coal Mine Road at 2:00 Sunday morning.
When officers arrived they found a man suffering a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died. KCPD identified the victim as Tevon Hardy, 25.
A short time later a second victim showed up at Research Medical Center, also suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. He is expected to be OK.
