KANSAS CITY, Mo. — More closures to come to Interstate 435.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be completing signage work and shoulder repairs effecting various lanes and ramps.

The outermost right lane of eastbound I-435 from State Line to Three Trails Crossing will close at 7 a.m. on Monday and will last until December 18th.

Another change will come on Friday as crews will close the two left most lanes of westbound I-435 from Wornall Road to State Line, starting at 7 p.m. until the following morning.

This is all part of the 435 South Loop Link Project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehab the bridges at 104TH Street and Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.

Commuters can scout their route in advance at www.kcscout.net to review traffic impacts and consider alternate routes.

The project is expected to wrap up by spring.
