U.S. Marshals caught a Jackson County mother charged for killing her baby.
Whitley Evenson from Independence, Missouri has been on the run for months, according to officials. She was found in Post Falls, Idaho on Friday and was arrested without incident.
In September 2015, the Jackson County prosecutor charged Evenson with the murder of her six-week-old child. Evenson allegedly told investigators she placed her hand over the infant’s mouth, suffocating the baby.
She didn’t’ t appear for a court hearing in July and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
