KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The United States Geological Survey says a M3.5 earthquake struck an area just north of Kansas City International Airport Friday.
According to the USGS, the quake which took place around 1:46 p.m., was centered about one kilometer north northeast of Ferrelview, Missouri.
An airport spokesperson said some airport personnel reported feeling the earthquake but no observable damage was reported.
"Inspections of the airfield and terminal are underway," the airport posted on social media.
