KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Independence firefighters put out a warehouse fire early Friday morning.
The fire happened near East Truman Road and South Harris Avenue around 6 a.m.
The warehouse was reportedly vacant but the roof did collapse in the fire.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
Truman Road was shut down for a period of time while fire crews worked on the building.
