KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m., police will join members of the Justice and Dignity Center to canvass the area near 83rd and Tracy.

That is where 8-year-old, Brian Bartlett was shot and killed Saturday night. Someone shot several times into the home, striking Bartlett while he was sleeping, and injuring his mom.

Members of the center said they are fed up with the amount of violence.

People are invited to spend time canvassing the area. They're hoping someone knows or saw something that happened that night.

Members also want people to be aware of the $25,000 reward for anonymous information leading to an arrest, made available through the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers.
