KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Monday volunteers from Sprint wrapped donated Christmas presents for about 300 foster children at Saint Luke's.
The annual program is called Adopt an Angel.
"This is very important. We manage 300 cases for the state and we have a residential treatment program and we want every child to feel loved on Christmas morning," said Wanda Taylor with Crittenton Children's Center.
About a dozen volunteers from Sprint Headquarters in Overland Park came to wrap gifts.
"Providing a wonderful holiday for these children is so critical and we all of them to be happy. especially during this time of the year," said Taylor.
Taylor says the foster care system is unpredictable so they may get new children days before Christmas.
If you would like to donate you can send or drop off your gift at 10918 Elm Ave. in Kansas City.
