Kate Burger was at work when she caught a man stealing a packages off of her doorstep through her home security system.
"I was just shocked I was like wait did that just, did he just take my packages?" she said.
She captured the video through her Ring doorbell, which has a motion sensor and starts recording. People can see the video through their phones and the video saves to an online system.

The man ended up taking a dry mat, toddler forks, and a spatula.
“It's more just hilarious then anything what they took, I hope they enjoy them," said Burger.
She's not alone. Another video was posted to the Waldo Facebook page. In that case, kitty litter was stolen.
Another bride to be posted her bridesmaids dresses were stolen off of her front porch. The thief returned the dresses and got a gift card from J.Crew. Eventually the woman got her dresses back without being out any money.
Police say despite all the Facebook posts- there has not been an uptick in stolen packages They say they will use the video to hopefully identify the suspects. Officers say most of the time thieves turn around and sell the stolen items.
