Kansas City’s Boulevard Brewery, established in 1989, has become the largest specialty brewer in the Midwest.
Serving as a major staple in KC, some people wonder why Boulevard beer is so popular.
Boulevard’s ambassador brewer, Jeremy Danner, understands exactly why.
“The way we make better beer is by using the highest quality of raw materials, while investing in the best equipment you can find,” said Danner. “When I introduce our beer, I use the word ‘balance’ a lot. What I enjoy most about our beer is that if I finish a glass of our Pale Ale, I really want another glass. That’s a good measure of quality beer."
Danner also illustrates that brewing beer for Boulevard is much more than just a job.
“We’ve always been big on brewing the best beer that we can, while also giving back to the city,” Danner said. “We get to go home everyday and look back on what we did and say we did something we really enjoyed.”
Boulevard distributes beer to 37 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, several European countries and China.
