KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sawyer Breslow is thankful after a close call in his backyard was caught on camera.
The Waldo homeowner was in his backyard checking on his garden when a large branch from his 100-year-old oak tree came crashing down.
Breslow said he, "Didn't have much time to react so I basically just threw myself up against the garage and covered my head and hoped for the best."
Everything was caught on his Ring camera, with a clear view of the yard and his dog moments before.
"Milo was sitting right here looking up at the tree. He knew something was up," Breslow said.
Shortly after, Milo takes off.
An arborist told the homeowner recent storms may have weakened the branch, because the tree is healthy. Breslow is thankful his family is too.
"I'm just lucky. I'm glad that me and my dog and my family are okay," Breslow said.
