KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sunday marks the three month anniversary of the Kansas City Chiefs winning Super Bowl LIV.

With stay-at-home orders in place across the metro due to COVID-19, Chiefs fans are being summoned to celebrate at home.

Cody Tapp, co-host of "Cody and Gold" on 610 Sports Radio, is asking all of Chiefs Kingdom to take part in a citywide tomahawk chop.

“We’re all trying to find ways to interact with other people, even though we can’t really interact with other people," Tapp said.

Tapp is asking Chiefs fans to plan the tomahawk chop in their driveways or on their balconies and celebrate the Chiefs win while social distancing.

“I have two small children, I’ll make them do it at noon on Sunday," Tapp said. "They don’t mind. They’re 1 and 3, so this is right up their alley."

Matt Atkinson has been spreading the word to his neighbors and plans on getting his kids ready for his driveway tailgate.

“The more people that do it, the more fun it will be," Atkinson said.

As for how long to tomahawk chop? That's up to the fans.

“Time is irrelevant, I could do this all day, every day," said Atkinson.
