KANSAS CITY, Mo. — More than 100 children in the Kansas City metro had the opportunity Sunday to receive free haircuts, clothing and food.

The Jegna Klub hosted the event in Kansas City, Kansas, and the thought behind it was that people do better when they feel better.

“They are excited about, not that it is free, but that people care about them,” Moses Wyatt, Jegna Klub founder and CEO, said. “They are excited that their community came to help do something for them."

Wyatt said they plan to bring the event back next year.
