KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Several Kansas City area homeless centers received much-needed donations Thursday to help combat the COVID-19 crisis.
American Shaman CEO Vince Sanders teamed up with two former Chiefs players, Tim Grunhard and Neil Smith, to donate more than 10,000 hand sanitizer products to 11 shelters.
“It just feels wonderful," Sanders said. "We’re a company that always tries to give back anyway but to be in a position like this — we can literally help potentially hundreds or thousands of people. I can’t imagine anything as rewarding."
The CBD company began making the hand sanitizer last month and has since donated thousands of gallons to first responders.
