KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Three residents at the Tiffany Springs Senior Living facility are walking one mile every day to raise money for Della Lamb Community Services.
The facility’s executive director mapped out a one-mile path for the residents to take, and some workers cheer them on outside.
“For $2.25, you can feed one child one hot meal, so as far as donations go, none is too small, none is too big,” Tiffany Springs resident Ernie Martel said. “$2.25 can feed one child.”
The residents started walking on Tuesday and have already raised $240.
