KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One Kansas City restaurant is donating meals to firefighters.

Tower Tavern has developed a relationship with firefighters over the years, with some of them becoming the restaurant’s regular customers.

The owner said donating meals to those firefighters is a way of giving back during this difficult time.

“It was just a way to say thanks for what they do and the hard work and the dangers they encounter,” owner Grant Naugle said.

Tower Tavern donated pizza and wings to five fire stations across Kansas City as a way to show its appreciation.
