KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A University of Kansas student is helping those who help others.
Gregory Bortnick is making devices with his 3D printer that ease pressure on a person’s ears while wearing a mask.
He produces more than 100 of the "Ear Ease" devices each day. He said he’s already sent 500 to area hospitals and plans to send 1,000 of them to New York to help health care workers.
“It makes me feel good, especially when there’s not a lot going on,” Bortnick said. “I am happy to be able to help and want to continue helping.”
