KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One hospital in the Kansas City metro received a big surprise across the street.

A farmer who lives near St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit constructed a giant “thank-you” sign in his field for the staff at the hospital to see.

In response, nurses put up their own sign that read, “We love you.”
