KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Liberty High School alumnus partnered with the Liberty Chamber of Commerce to help local businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Weston Brown, 19, created the Gift Card Frenzy program with the chamber as part of a scholarship he received.
The chamber, according to its website, pledged $10,000 to purchase “bonus gifts cards from [its] locally owned member businesses.”
“For every $50 gift card purchased on our website, we will provide a $25 gift card to that same business as a thank you for supporting local,” the website stated.
The program began June 15. For more information, visit the chamber’s website.
