KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It's a big day at the Truman Sports Complex. The Royals are playing a day game, and iconic band U2 will rock Arrowhead Stadium Tuesday evening.

This is the Irish band's first show in the Fountain City since 2001, and the last time they played at Arrowhead was 1997.

One guest in the crowd is "Joshua." It's a stuffed bear that is making its way to every concert on the 30th anniversary Joshua Tree tour.

There’s also a gold puff painted Joshua Tree. Many people were getting photos in front of it.

"It's a great conversation piece. We had the same thing in Chicago when we did it. A lot of folks come up," explained Jeff Ebbing, who has made a piece that represents each tour with his brother. They have been doing that since 2001.

For many fans, a U2 concert is a destination trip.

"The first time I saw U2 was back in '92. I haven't missed a tour since. I always see them multiple times - this is no exception," explained Steve Loftus, who said the short drive from Omaha was no big deal, especially since he is seeing this show with his best friend.
