KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Job postings listed on the Whataburger corporate website confirm locations for two restaurants in the Kansas City area.
The company announced plans to expand into the area back in August but had not yet announced a physical address.
Two General Manager positions were posted online - one in Blue Springs and one in Overland Park.
The Blue Springs location is listed at 905 Highway 7.
The Overland Park location is listed at 8420 West 135th Street.
Neither job opening gave an indication of when the restaurants might open.
Fans of the burger restaurant can likely thank Chiefs Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes for the chain's expansion into the area, as he created quite the social media uproar almost a year ago with his love for Whataburger ketchup.
